Durness Beach

Scotland isn’t the sunniest beach destination in the world, but there’s something soothing about walking along the country’s sandy shores and taking in the beauty on a drizzly day. The white sand, azure blue water, and lack of foot traffic makes Durness Beach an ideal place to walk your dog, clear your head, or simply sit and gaze out to sea. The moss-covered rock formations and grassy backdrop also remind you that you’re on a beach in Scotland, one of the greenest countries on earth.
