SECLUDED, CRESCENT-SHAPED PERFECTION
Located on the southern coast of Anguilla, Maundays Bay not only offers exceptional views of the nearby island of St. Martin but also features calm, sheltered waters thanks to its beautiful crescent shape. Unlike busier tourist spots around the Caribbean, Maundays Bay provides a quieter, more intimate experience, with just one idyllic hotel as a charming backdrop. The striking turquoise water and orientation make it a favorite for swimming and water sports. With a generous array of swaying palm trees at the east end of the beach, visitors can find ample shade to enjoy the incredible views from the soft, almost blindingly white sand.

THE PERFECT DAY AT Maundays Bay
-
SEAWEED
Since 2010, south-facing beaches in the Caribbean (including Maundays Bay) have had significant amounts of seaweed washing ashore. This occurs most often between May and August.
-
CALM SEAS
Though there is a very small risk of hurricanes, and there are more rainy days, the ocean is much calmer May through November. We particularly love the Caribean in October and November, as the ocean is in a postcard state if there are clear skies.
-
WIND
Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
-
CLEAR SKIES
Sunny days are more likely between December to April, however visits during May through November are underrated, with calmer seas.
