DOMINICAN GEM SURROUNDED BY LUSH WILDERNESS

The beautiful Bahía de las Águilas beach is located within the protected Jaragua National Park in the Dominican Republic. What sets this beach apart from others in the country is its location within one of the largest national parks, which helps preserve its untouched beauty, ensuring it remains pristine and protected. The surrounding park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, both on land and in the sea, making it a haven for nature lovers. The beach feels secluded and is especially popular for its crystal-clear waters, soft white sand, and dramatic landscape, all framed by the park's lush vegetation and rugged cliffs. THE PERFECT DAY AT Bahia de Las Aguilas

  • CALM SEAS

Though there is a very small risk of hurricanes, and there are more rainy days, the ocean is much calmer May through November. We particularly love the Caribean in October and November, as the ocean is in a postcard state if there are clear skies.

  • WIND

Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.

  • CLEAR SKIES

Sunny days are more likely between December to April, however visits during May through November are underrated, with calmer seas.

  • HURRICANES

Note that Hurricane seasons runs from June through November. Beware of a very small risk of a hurricane during this time.
